Conquering Digital Transformation

How to balance business complexity with cost and risk

Wednesday 7th July 2021, 9am to 10:30am

As organisations modernise, they tend to come up against three big obstacles: complexity, cost and risk. According to a 2021 global survey by Dynatrace, 89% of CIOs say digital transformation has accelerated in the last 12 months with 63% saying that the complexity of their cloud environments has surpassed human ability to manage.

With data spread across the enterprise and in use by a multitude of different applications and databases, managing this complexity is getting increasingly difficult. In addition, the hidden costs of digital transformation and cloud infrastructure can often create more of a sunk cost than an efficiency. And if that wasn’t enough, the risks to budget and brand reputation presented by data privacy regulations is constant threat on the CIO’s radar.

The question for today’s digital leader is, how should you balance these modernisation imperatives? In this roundtable session, we will be discussing how to overcome complexity across the modern enterprise, best practices to protect and utilise your data, and how to drive innovation in a hybrid environment.
